Before he knew it, he was soon dancing for some of the most notable artists including: Janet Jackson, Madonna, Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Prince, Ricky Martin and Tina Turner.
This artistic visionary soon created movement for numerous promotional and world tours such as Danity Kane’s Dollhouse Tour and Making the Band 4 Tour, Jennifer Lopez’s If You Had My Love Tour and Coco Lee’s promo tour. Gil’s first opportunity to show his choreography on a global level was on legendary Tina Turner for her 24/7 World Tour.
Gil has gained most notoriety in the industry for his wildly creative input for performances and videos of pop icon, Janet Jackson. His choreography appeared on Jackson’s All For You World Tour (associate choreographer), Damita Jo Promo Tour, Discipline Promo Tour, Rock Witchu Tour and her latest tour, Up Close & Personal. Gil recently choreographed Nicki Minaj’s I Am Music Tour, Femme Fatale Tour and Roman Reloaded Asia Promo Tour. Not only that, the thunderous voice known as Charice Pempengco has appointed Gil as the artistic director for her Asia tour. His latest work can be seen on the 54th Grammy Awards, the halftime show for the 2012 NBA All-Stars, a Pepsi commercial with Nicki Minaj, American Idol with Demi Lovato and Tyler Perry’s film entitled, For Colored Girls.
